At home wherever words, art and nature connect, my work currently takes the form of writing and painting. With a background in writing all my work is meaning-driven. Every word, every brush stroke, every stitch counts. Increasingly reluctant to restrict my work to the page, I have been mixing ideas in watercolour.

One friend sent me this lovely photograph of the trees in Waterhall Park. Here you can see the spaces between the trees – spaces of life and breath and freedom that she felt on walks during the lockdowns.
